Description

This one began from pencil as well. It's not supposed to be Manson, it just happens to have his atmosphere. The grid began as just a straight up and down grid for the longest time, till i finally got sick of seeing it look so bad and came back a few months later and revised it. To make a long story short, I chose the more tedious method of rounding the grid to his face shape by drawing in grid lines and smudging and blurring.

Dodge/Burn tool...displacement map...am i right? I have seen that Matrix text tut as well

Hah... those were very good guesses, because i actually tried the displacement map first but it still didn't give it the wrap i wanted so i went behind and pretty much smudged and blurred and just touched up the grid by hand. and for the text... well, i dind't actually use the matrix font, but i did get the idea from it to duplicate the layer and erase jagged edges then move the layer slightly.
